| Sioux began her passion for photography as a teenager in Bucks County, PA. Undergraduate of the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston and Tufts University with a BFA. Extremely fortunate to attend the Graduate School of working with Albert Watson as his first assistant for 5 years. She is fluent in recreating or capturing extraordinary light, and has a natural charisma that is as captivating as her images. Sioux shoots for magazines and advertising worldwide, and creates with all formats of film and digital capture. Some of her clients have included In Style, Real Simple, Oyster, Rolling Stone, The Fader, Seventeen, Architect Magazine, Macy's, Kodak, to name a few. She has photographed many artists and celebrities some include Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock, Bonnie Raitt, David Cronenberg, Robert Stern, Marianne Faithfull, Carly Simon, Lil Kim, Fred Durst, Kelly MacDonald, Saul Williams, Robert Stern, William Fichtner, Kelly Preston, Ben Harper, Michael Madsen also to name a few. Currently based in NewYork City and is working on a book of her reportage work. She is also Oona's proud Mama. |
